Hi Chantelle, Bob and Kate: As yet, Forever 21 and other stores have not announced that they will be coming to Uptown.
Uptown’s second phase is scheduled to open in the summer of 2012… but as yet we don’t know which shops will fill it.

It would be much better if they got some stores in that we don’t already have. Victoria is small and doesn’t have much choice – repeating stuff is just annoying! If they get some new names maybe we won’t have to go over to the mainland to shop…

I heard that Bath and Bodyworks is coming to Uptown this winter but I haven’t seen it yet. Is this also a rumor?
there is a Bath and Body coming to Victoria, not sure of location but work will begin in a few weeks. I will update when we know the location as there are a couple possible including Uptown and Hillside.

Is there going to be a playplace in this mall? The playplaces in almost all of the malls in Calgary are awesome – a nice treat for the kids when going to the mall (not to mention totally free). If it’s not in the plans the management should seriously look into it. I’m shocked and disappointed that there’s really nothing like this in Victoria (other than what they have at Hillside Mall which of course is better than nothing).

Uptown is a horrible mall. Every time I go there I just hate it more and more. They haven’t even filled all the spots in Phase 1 and they are opening a Phase 2? Ahahaha that’s ridiculous.
they should have opened more new stores by now…. and havent heard any real news on what is coming?? anyone know?…

Uptown is not doing well financially which is why nothing is coming together the way it was planned or expected. Most of the office spaces are completely empty and some of the stores aren’t full either. Plus they already had one store close due to poor sales.

Bath and Body Works, forever 21 and H&M for stores would be s plus. As for restaurants, Olive Garden or East Side Mario’s. Great value and great food. Both are similar to Spaghetti Factory but we already have one here. Be nice to have Red Lobster again too.

For the record whoever is wanting Forever 21 to come or open or whatever it is open and I saw a resturatant being buil don’t know if it is open I walk by it everyday mostly and yeah H&M their is one I believe it is open but have no clue where it is…..Hope that was help.
