Simon Property Group, Inc. owns the most malls in the US. At time of publishing, they’re the largest public U.S. real estate company.

They operate regional malls, Premium Outlet Centers, The Mills malls, community/lifestyle centers and international properties. It currently owns or has an interest in 386 properties comprising 244 million square feet of gross leasable area in North America, Europe and Asia.

A Mills mall typically comprises well over one million square feet of gross leasable area and has a combination of traditional mall, outlet center and big box retailers and entertainment uses.
